A few months ago I obtained what I believe to be a late 1800's original Louis Vuitton trunk from the Alameda flea market. I'm awaiting word from the archive dept. at Vuitton in France to get certification. I don't really want to restore it, but was thinking about having a lucite case built so I could use it as a coffee table. Thoughts, suggestions?
